The Ford Edge Lives On in China as a Sleek Hybrid

That's interesting news! The Ford Edge is a mid-size crossover SUV that was first introduced by Ford in 2006. While it has been discontinued in many markets, including the United States, it appears that Ford is still producing the Edge in China as a sleek hybrid.

The Edge hybrid is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that's paired with an electric motor and a battery pack. The hybrid system produces a combined output of 188 horsepower, which is sent to the front wheels through a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

According to reports, the Edge hybrid is quite fuel-efficient, with an estimated fuel economy rating of 7.0 liters per 100 kilometers (33.6 mpg) on the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC).

It's worth noting that Ford has been focusing heavily on electrification in recent years, and the Edge hybrid is just one example of the company's efforts to produce more environmentally friendly vehicles. In addition to the Edge hybrid, Ford has also introduced a number of other hybrid and electric vehicles, including the Mustang Mach-E electric SUV and the F-150 Lightning electric pickup truck.

Overall, it's great to see Ford continuing to innovate and produce vehicles that are both stylish and environmentally friendly. The Edge hybrid seems like a solid option for those looking for a mid-size SUV with good fuel efficiency.
