Diagnostic Fault Information



Circuit/System Description



The radio can command the seatback video display mode on vehicles equipped with rear seat entertainment (RSE) video. The radio utilizes discreet



mode control circuits to each display to control the screen display mode via a pulse width modulated signal. If the display screen does not receive a



signal, the display screen will operate in a default full screen mode.



Conditions for Running the DTC



* Ignition ON.



* Battery voltage must be between 9-16 volts.



Conditions for Setting the DTC



The DTC will set when the radio detects a short to voltage, short to ground, or an open/high resistance in the video display mode control circuit 400



ms after the radio activates the remote enable circuit.



Action Taken When the DTC Sets
